The Law Society of Hong Kong Headquarters
Situated within the iconic octagonal floor plate of The Center, the headquarters for The Law Society of Hong Kong redefines institutional architecture in a high-density commercial core. Spanning 2,145 square metres, the project bridges the gravity of a century-old regulatory body with the transparent, human-centric needs of 14,000 members and the public.
Reframing Legal Space: The Law Society of Hong Kong Headquarters
The interior choreography pivots on the concept of balancing strict perimeter discipline with a sweeping, radial spatial circulation. At its heart, a continuous Heritage Gallery wraps the central mechanical core, turning routine circulation into an archival journey that alternates between intimate historical reflection and expansive views of the city skyline. Materially anchored by Gascogne Beige limestone, warm Marcello Walnut, and custom acoustic baffles, the project seamlessly integrates advanced digital infrastructure and multi-layered security protocols. By dissolving traditional corporate silos, the design establishes a dignified, future-proof civic anchor that honours legal heritage while embracing modern operational efficiency.
