Skypark Business Centre South
Skypark Business Centre South is a landmark development situated at the threshold of Luxembourg Airport, representing a paradigm shift in transit-oriented workspace design. Selected as the winner of the WAFX Award in 2019, the project was the result of an elite invited competition with leading global practices including Snøhetta and BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). This achievement underscores the studio’s ability to deliver high-performance, research-driven architecture that competes at the highest international level.
The project is defined by its extreme technical and site complexity, requiring the seamless integration of a 30,000+ sqm commercial programme within a high-intensity infrastructure hub. The design navigates the contradictory requirements of public accessibility and corporate exclusivity while addressing significant acoustic challenges posed by the adjacent runway. By applying a sophisticated spatial logic, the project transforms a traditional airport expansion into a high-value architectural asset that functions as both a gateway to the country and a resilient ecosystem for the modern, transient workforce.
