Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) New Premise
Located at a prominent junction between the commercial density of Times Square and the greenery of Happy Valley, the new HKIA premise is defined by the concept of being connected on three primary layers: visual, programme, and movement.
HKIA New Premise – Connected
The project is the result of an intensive co-design process, involving an open competition, member voting, and direct engagement with office staff. Despite a tight budget for the 4,000 sq. ft. space, the design achieved highquality outcomes through Strategic Asset Preservation, recycling architectural features from the original office. The project has applied for BEAM Plus (Building Interiors) v2.0 Pilot certification, demonstrating a commitment to environmental resilience within a professional setting.
