Kan is a RIBA Chartered member and founder of Aravia, he is currently leading our team as Design Director.

Ever since founding Aravia Design in 2015, Kan Chan (陳正芹)assumed the role of Design Director and led a team of specialists to complete over 30 projects worldwide. Kan is currently a chartered member of RIBA, and a HKIA associate member. He is one of very few architects in Asia that has been nominated at the WAF and won the prestigious WAFX Award (2019)

Apart from professional practice, Kan Chan has taught architecture design at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The City University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on architecture as an agency in the making of public realm, and his thesis in 2013 had been nominated for the RIBA President’s Medal. You may have heard of Kan Chan from fields outside of architecture as he is an active participant in public services. He is the current president of Lions Club of Braemer Hill Hong Kong and a professional advisor for CRCC.

自2015年創辦睿凡設計以來,陳正芹(Kan)一直擔任公司的設計總監,帶領專業團隊完成全球超過30個建築、室內設計、及城市規劃項目。陳正芹是英國皇家建築師協會特許會員,同時是亞洲極少數曾經奪得有建築界奧斯卡之稱的WAFX獎項的建築師。

陳正芹過往在香港中文大學及城市大學教授建築,他的研究主要聚焦於建築設計與公共領域的關係,他2013年的論文亦曾獲提名RIBA會長獎。陳正芹先生熱心公益,目前擔任寶馬山獅子會會長,亦是中國鐵建的專業顧問。
